I know a lot of you probably already know about places you can take your pets for a trip, whether it is just a day trip, or even a week long vacation or longer. I do appreciate that when our clients can’t take their pets with them, that they call on our pet sitting services to take care of their beloved pets while they are gone.
For those of you reading this that are out of the area and cannot use The Woof Pack, I would hope that you do find a reputable pet sitting service for your loved ones. I do suggest going to http://www.petsit.com, or http://www.petsitters.org to do a search for such reputable pet sitters.
Anyway, what I want to let you know about is the book that we always use to plan a trip anywhere so we can take our dog Storm with us. You may have heard about “The California Dog Lover’s Companion.” Don’t fret if you don’t live in California. The series of books also covers states such as Florida, Texas, Seattle, and Boston just to name a few.
The latest version gives you “Up-to-date information on the best places to ‘ruff’ it with your pooch, including nearly 1,000 parks, forests, beaches, and recreation areas,” many of which your dogs can go off leash. The book also tells you about “hundreds of dog-friendly restaurants and hotels that roll out the welcome mat for pooches.” You can also read about unusual adventures that you can share with your dog. And there is so much more!
This is a great resource that we use all the time, Storm goes many places with us, and this book is a valuable tool to help us find out where we can go and what we can do. I suggest you check it out. Now, I don’t like paying full price on anything if I can help it, so you can check out this link for discounted prices for TheDog Lover’s Companion to California: The Inside Scoop on Where to TakeYour Dog (Dog Lover’s Companion Guides)
