Looking For Someone Who Rescues Cats

A client of The Woof Pack, Nick in Newark, CA asked me about a problem regarding
rescuing cats in his neighborhood. His dilemma is that there are quite a few cats
(ferals or strays) near his home, some of which they have taken care of
because they don't want the cats to go hungry.

He was asking me about any organizations that will help him take in these cats,
care for them, and adopt them out to good homes. I told him that most cat
rescues will most likely tell him to capture the animal himself and then call them.
And in the case of ferals, most rescues will not take them because they are
difficult or impossible to place in a home.

This is what he said he encountered when he spoke to the rescue organizations.
Now, I am a sponsor of Furry Friends Rescue, and I wholly support the work that
this and other organizations do to help rescue and place animals into good
adoptive homes and I understand that they can only help so many animals. They
can't save them all, but they do a terrific job.

What Nick is looking for is a single person (or different organization) who has taken
it upon themselves to help those cats that the cat rescue organizations cannot help.
He had heard of a person in Mountain View, CA but not of anyone in the East Bay, and
neither had I. I do not know of anyone who is out there, spending their time and
effort to help stray and feral cats and trying to adopt them out, or just simply bring
them in to care for them long term.

This is why I am writing this. If you know of anyone who simply loves to help out
the many stray and feral cats in the East Bay, namely the Fremont tri-city area
of California, and who takes them in and cares for them or tries to adopt them
out, then please leave your comments here on The Woof Blog so we can help
Nick save some of these cats in his neighborhood.

With your help, hopefully we can find someone, or a group, who would be willing
to help care for these feral and stray cats in Newark, CA. Please ask everyone you
know, because it only takes one person who knows someone who does this.
Thanks everyone.
